Glycobiology in Life Sciences Symposium

Glycoscience Graduate School GGS is organizing the 10th Finnish Glycoscience meeting Jubilee Symposium on "Glycobiology in Life Sciences". The symposium will cover different topics in the methodology, applications and current trends in glycosylation and glycan research in life sciences and is open to all interested participants.

We have confirmed several distinguished international and Finnish speakers in various fields of glycosciences. These include Professor Jesús Jiménez Barbero from CIB-CSI (Madrid, Spain), Professor Hans-Joachim Gabius from Ludwig-Maximilians-University (Munich, Germany), Doctor Bernard Henrissat from Architecture et Fonction des Macromolécules Biologiques, Aix-Marseille University and CNRS (Marseille, France), Professor Gerald Hart from Department of Biological Chemistry, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine (USA), Doctor Vincent Hascall from Department of Biomedical Engineering, Cleveland Clinic (Ohio, USA), Professor Otto Holst from Division of Structural Biochemistry, Research Center Borstel (Borstel, Germany) and Professor Jamey Marth from University of California (USA).

The course is worth 1.3 ECTS credits.
